240 people. One room (and a lobby). Meeting for the same purpose. Getting business done. All in one day.

One day - the 2018 NH Small Business Matchmaker was held on Friday, November 30th, at Manchester Community College, co-sponsored by the U.S. Small Business Administration, NH Procurement Technical Assistance Center, and NH Small Business Development Center.

The annual Matchmaker event created the opportunity for 150 small business owners to meet forty representatives from federal agencies and prime contractors - all have federal government contracts that need small business suppliers to provide services and products to fulfill the contracts. In addition, twenty small business resource partners were present to connect with attendees.

U.S. Senator Maggie Hassan; Wendell Davis, Regional Administrator, U.S. SBA; Will Arvelo, Director of Economic Affairs, NH Business and Economic Affairs; Brandon Greene, Senior Director of Supplier Partnerships, BAE Systems Inc.; and Dr. Susan Huard, President, Manchester Community College; joined Liz Gray, State Director, NH SBDC, in welcoming the Matchmaker attendees.

Three breakout sessions offered information on DFARS and cybersecurity, labor laws in government contracts, and how business resources can help you grow your business.
