Ed Miles

Ed Miles

Seacoast Regional Director

Ed Miles Environment

Driven by a desire to share industry knowledge and support small businesses, Ed aims to meet clients where they are, offering personalized, confidential, professional guidance that empowers them with actionable steps for a clear path forward.

When Ed sees six meetings on his calendar, he doesn’t see a busy day; he sees six opportunities to have an impact in the state.

Previously with a career in the private sector, Ed was drawn to work with SBDC where he could work for a mission-driven organization that has a measurable impact with small businesses in NH. While his work as Seacoast Regional Director means he spends time building relationships with various stakeholders, he also works with Seacoast small businesses as a business advisor.

Ed prides himself on meeting his clients where they are with an empathetic ear, optimistic approach, and realistic advice for business owners to make educated decisions on what’s next through the full life cycle of any business from entity formation to middle maturity, and strategic guidance to succession planning. No matter where you are in your business, Ed will meet you there, providing the resources, guidance, and connections to help you identify a clear path forward.

And at the end of the day, Ed’s goal is simple: to know he helped his client with the advice they needed to make decisions on next steps.
