Flying behind the scenes, Mike serves as the first point of connection to incoming clients, simplifying the onboarding process and connecting clients with advisors with ease and efficiency.
Driven by his intention to support the business community, Mike Cashion works behind the scenes, supporting SBDC’s dozen business advisors by assisting new clients with all the necessary documentation and organization required to connect with an advisor.
Fielding thousands of requests by small businesses each year, Mike’s role, while under the radar to most, is imperative to giving clients an easy transition into SBDC. What could be an otherwise cumbersome process, Mike makes easier for both clients and advisors. The ultimate goal? Helping small businesses find direction and confidence in the next steps for their business.
Prior to working with SBDC, Mike served as the Executive Assistant to the CEO of Morgan Investment Group. Before working with MIG, Mike enjoyed working with the startup community as the Manager of Operations and Communication at Alpha Loft.
Mike has served in various roles such as executive support, operations, communications, etc. Each role has provided him a wide range of experience, diverse skills and exposure to many different stakeholders.
